The math puzzle is gone. Signing in, signing up, and joining as a guest now use a quick one-tap security check most of the time it clears on its own with nothing for you to solve.
- Works on sign in, sign up, guest join, and the in-chat check for guests
- Much smaller on phones — the Sign In and Join Room buttons no longer get pushed off the bottom of the screen
- If it ever fails to load, you now get a clear message instead of it quietly getting stuck

The security check looks at the reputation of the connection you're coming from. If you're on a VPN, a proxy, or an IP address that has been abused or blacklisted, the check will be much harder — it may ask you to tick a box, keep retrying in a loop, or refuse to pass at all.
Turn off your VPN or proxy and connect from your normal internet before signing in. This is the same reason the chat already blocks VPN and proxy connections.
